What a day that was!
Choosing not to rent a car during my 2 days in San Francisco meant I had to let go of limiting beliefs that I would miss out on something.
Choosing to change that point of view created magic.
Seemingly out of nowhere, a girlfriend offered to adventure with me! There were no plans, no expectations, only my body’s’ desire to walk barefoot in my beloved Pacific Ocean.
My girlfriend took us to an off the beaten path beach where you exit the car with nothing on your feet.
For me when I am waking on the sands and in the waters of the pacific ocean something wonderful happens. I am lighter, more open, more myself, more aware of the stories I have been telling myself and believing that were not even mine!
The spaciousness of mother nature, soaring birds, scurrying sand pipers and the laughter of children invites me to be present, to acknowledge the autopilot of living the expectations of this reality rather than truly living what my heart has been quietly asking for.
That Sunday, the ocean gifted us in ways that were beyond magic. A phenomenon I had never seen while living in my beach cottage for 7 yrs.
“ Purple Waves “
Seldom seen, they are caused by the bloom of juvenile saps which are gelatinous creatures related to fish. When they wash ashore in large numbers they create a purple wave.
I am grateful to my body for asking to beach walk. Such incredible body joy in seeing the purple yumminess of nature. It is a gift we all can embrace , listening to our bodies, the space of being more ourselves in this evolving new world.
